About the studio
An interior architecture approach to kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms
You approve the finished room in Winner 3D before a single cabinet is ordered, and one studio stays responsible from survey to snagging so the room you agreed to is the room that gets built.
Our story
Founded by Richard to bring design-led interiors to homeowners and developers
Richard is the founder of Studio Seven, trading as TheKitchenCo. He holds a degree in interior architecture and has 15 years of experience in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom sector. He set the studio up four years ago for a specific reason: bespoke interiors were being sold as cabinetry rather than designed as rooms, and clients were left holding the gap between a showroom drawing and whoever turned up to fit it.
We work with homeowners and developers who want the room resolved before it is bought. That means the structure, services, lighting, joinery and finishes are drawn together and presented in Winner 3D from your own eye height. Changes happen on screen, where they cost nothing, instead of on site, where they cost weeks.
The studio is based at Cornelly House, School Hill, Shortlanesend, near Truro, and our showroom in Truro opens in 2027. We work across Cornwall, Devon, London and the Home Counties, and our supply chain is sourced locally in Cornwall rather than routed through London.

Mission and standards
One studio responsible, and a standard you can hold us to
Our position is simple: the studio that designs the room should supply it, install it and answer for it. Splitting those roles is what produces a finished kitchen nobody will take responsibility for.
Cabinetry is supplied through Schüller, Novelle and Omega, and every specification is made against the room as surveyed rather than a nominal drawing. We are members of the KBSA, the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association: which gives you an independent standard and a route of recourse that does not depend on our goodwill.
Design before commitment
The room is resolved and specified in Winner 3D before anything is ordered. You approve what you are buying.
Two-year workmanship guarantee
Our installation work carries a two-year workmanship guarantee, backed through KBSA membership, alongside manufacturer warranties.
£5,000,000 public liability insurance
The cover level developers, architects and managing agents ask to see before trades start work on a property.
Specialist input where it is needed
Accessible kitchen and bathroom work is designed with a specialist accessible design consultant and adaptive product suppliers.
Local supply chain
Suppliers and trades are sourced locally in Cornwall, which keeps lead times and problem-solving realistic in the far south-west.
